Shubhangy Raghavan, MS
Graduate Researcher
I am a PhD student in the department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. I graduated from Johns Hopkins University with my BS in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering in 2023 and with my MS in the same subject in 2024. While at Johns Hopkins University, I worked in a cardiology lab that focused on identifying molecular mechanisms of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). I also worked on developing a sufficient mouse model for HFpEF. I have also worked at Regeneron on understanding the role of Complement Factor B on cell homeostasis in lung fibroblasts. Here my research focuses on changes in cell states that lead to kidney disease in various contexts. In my free time I love puzzles, watching sports, reading, and tending to my plants.
